IMT manufactures custom control panels for our equipment and third-party applications. IMT uses the latest and most advanced electrical components in our panels. A top quality control panel is the heart of a trouble-free system. All IMT panels start with highly professional design standards, and are built by fully trained and qualified personnel using extensive in-house Quality Control procedures. Through extensive training and third-party inspections, IMT can provide our customers panels that meet NFPA 496 and 79, UL508A and 698A, and CSA 22.2 14-95 standards for industrial control panels with intrinsic circuits.
IMT will integrate and control all of your equipment from one control panel, configured and fully tested to meet your site-specific requirements. With an engineered, fully tested central control panel from IMT, installation and startup are simpler and off-site monitoring becomes much more practical. All panels are fully documented and schematics are provided for each panel. Important features of the IMT's Control Panels include the following:
- Main fused disconnect is external to control panel
- All control circuits shall operate on 120 volt, 60 Hz
- Symcom brand motor saver, model no. 102, 3-Phase surge protector
- NEMA 3R enclosure utilized for the main control panel and Siemens or Square D MSP style breakers
- Magnetic starters is utilized for all motor loads, properly sized and rated for the intended load
- Integral and adjustable thermal overloads with trip indicator for each motor load
- Interior swing out sub panel for control switches, gauges, indicator lights, etc.
- Blank front door panel
- Indicator lights for alarm conditions for each individual alarm
- LED type indicator lights
- Control circuit power light
- Minimum of one spare normally opened (N.O.) auxiliary contact per contactor
- A 20-amp GFCI outdoor convenience outlet, with its own circuit breaker
- Motor circuit protector for motors
- Each device to have its own separate branch breaker with trip indicator
- Padlock hasps on control panel door
- Motor circuit wiring conforms to NEC Table 310-16, with a 0.87 wire size correction factor
